Hi there! My name is A.S.R. Gelpi, and I am thrilled to have you join me on this journey into the realms of epic fantasy through my epic fantasy books.

My love for epic fantasy began with the legendary tales of Odysseus and deepened through the rich worlds of Greek mythology. I was firmly rooted when I first turned the pages of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Later, my studies led me to explore the epics of Gilgamesh and Arjuna in the Mahabharata. I realized my true calling—to craft epic fantasy stories, much like the ancient storytellers before me, with immersive fantasy world-building and intricate lore.

Epic Fantasy with a Twist

Why epic fantasy? For me, it’s the timeless allure of the hero’s journey—a destiny-bound adventure filled with trials that shape and transform them. These stories explore the deepest recesses of the human spirit, revealing how adversity can forge strength and inspire change.

When I set out to write epic fantasy books, I want to delve into the psyche of troubled heroes—characters who wrestled with their hopes and desires, duties, and flaws. I envisioned a hero forced to confront the darkest parts of themselves, to navigate temptations and moral dilemmas, and ultimately emerge a transformed individual—from charcoal and, through endless pressure, become a diamond. Through their journeys, I aim to weave lessons on morality while offering readers a window into the complexities of the human soul.

If stories of flawed characters rising to the challenge resonate with you, I invite you to embark on a new adventure with The Dandelion Chronicles. This epic fantasy series follows Kharis, a heroine burdened by a family curse and haunted by a dark past.

Kharis is thrust into a world of trials that will test her resolve and moral compass. Anger and revenge tempt her to use her magic, but kindness and justice will also become grounding forces. Each adventure will chip away at the layers of trauma that have haunted her since childhood, revealing her strength and brilliance.
